Notes, observations from Tennessee basketball's Wednesday practice

Tennessee men's basketball's practice on Wednesday was open to the media.

Here are my full notes and observations.

NOTES​

- Zakai didn't appear to be limited in any way
- Mashack becoming a vocal leader
- Bigs' hands looked improved when catching tough passes
- "Stop shooting shots you don't practice" - Barnes
- Gainey can get HOT from three
- Knecht also a great shooter
- Refs in attendance were calling fouls, violations
- Much fewer midranges taken than previous years
- Dilione has room to improve but has an NBA ceiling
- Aidoo made some mistakes in '4-minute drill' situations
- Practiced 2 minutes, tie game situation, same as multiple matches last year
