After rewatching the game I was pretty impressed with the movement the oline generated. Granted the level of competition wasn’t strong, but previous offensive lines never punished inferior talent. There were several plays where Milton got flat footed and didn’t get the ball out, but it was noticeable that Milton had the opportunity to go through all of his progressions. Hopefully, as this offense progresses, Milton will be able to get to his 2nd, 3rd reads and be able to find an open man.
Most impressive to me was the conditioning of this group. I have doubts many of those 5 guys could have played that many snaps a year ago, especially at the tempo of this offense. Darnell Wright was the most impressive to me. He just looks like a different kind of athlete this year. Also that right side of the line with spraggins and Cade Mays should be a strong duo in the run game.
