1. Change @ QB with 15 getting the start ( the future is now)
2. Expand the offense to help the young QB ( Yes expand... put in more plays with determined motions to help him recognize coverage and create spacing in the passing game, add WR quick screens to get the ball out of his hands quicker, use more predetermined routes and less coverage adjustment routes, lots of check with me calls from the side line.)
3. Get the wiggle and jiggle (high tech coach term
in the Offense. ( Get Calloway, and Holiday in the quick screen, slants, jet sweeps and reverse game K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Stupid) let the pups not think and use their athletic ability)
4. Time to see if Carvin can play center. ( love Brandon Kennedy as a young man and if not for multiple knee injuries believe he could have been a ALL-SEC type player, but unfortunately his lack of mobility has hurt this O-Line. The center usually has a lot of reach blocks on DTs and second level blocks and BK just cant do it consistently anymore.)
5. Stay in the pistol. ( This honestly seems to be our best run formation, it keeps the defense more balanced and allows backs more of a downhill run leverage)
6. Honestly, just coach to win the game. ( take some chances, press the defense and call a couple of trick plays, with the influx of younger players Auburn will have no tendencies on tape to go by and make them play more reactionary defense than attacking)
7. Be more aggressive on Defense ( run blitz, play more high / Low safety to help the middle of the field, zone blitz more on 3 downs and drop that OLB to cutoff the lane for the slants, press cover the slots with inside technique on 3rd downs, create some more exotic blitzes use Bennett on obvious passing downs to cover up the Tackle and stack Harrison / Joseph outside of him to use their speed off the edge
8. Finally coach and play with some freaking fire and purpose (nuff said there
)
