I'm told from sources close to the situation that Barnes has already made the hire but that it could be a little while before the it's announced while the new guy is finishing things up at his current job. Unfortunately, no name yet, but we'll obviously continue to dig.
I don't believe it's going to be as immediate as some of you seem to think based on what I'm hearing today. I'm told that video coordinator Riley Davis is taking the NCAA certification test next week in preparation of going on the road with the rest of the staff next weekend during one of the two open evaluation weekends in April. Based on that information, if the staff is getting Davis ready to go out and help them as a fourth coach it sounds to me like the announcement could be delayed a bit but we'll see how things develop.
