And one of the issues some of our rivals have right now is that they have a lot of chiefs trying to run NIL for their particular programs. We’re very fortunate that for once our many factions are all squarely behind one entity and everyone is pulling in the right direction.

But just a reminder to everyone to be careful of some pop up NIL entities that may not be reputable. There was, rightfully, a lot of skepticism when Spyre popped up and I believe pretty much all of that healthy skepticism has been met with answers and action. And they’re working not just on football but heavily involved in baseball, basketball and elsewhere.

I have no issue with healthy competition. But if our fans are going to give to a collective for the good or UT athletics, I would just caution you to make sure that the pop up collectives are legit and actually associated in some way with the players they claim to represent.

Keep it up Vol fans. We’re helping to change the trajectory of Vol sports.
