During my short stay here, I've noticed there are quite a few knowledgeable chaps on this message board. Apparently, my girlfriend was at work yesterday and had a fairly benign exchange with a co-worker. After work she came out and noticed the tire was flat. These are fairly new tires that I had put on earlier in the year. She sent me a picture and it appeared as if a perfectly even straight cut was made through the tire. Not using her head, she put the donut on the car and drove 35 miles from work to home without inflating the donut. I asked about security cameras on the premises and unfortunately the place of business doesn't have the coverage to provide proof as to who slashed the tire. Asking any lawyer posters in here. Is the place of business liable? My concern is not the tire itself, but to prevent any further acts of vandalism on what is in reality my car that she drives and pays the insurance for. Any sound advice is appreciated.
