If you are of the age that you remember and appreciate what the Beatles meant to music back in the 60's......you owe it to yourselves to watch this. It's 8hrs in 3 parts. But it was taken from over 50 hours of film that had been put away and forgotten about. It's been restored and put together and it's pretty amazing. They had not been together for over 2 year at the time and wanted to "get the band back together", film a documentary, write and record some new songs, and then perform live again for the first time since 1966. It's mainly just them in a TV rehearsal hall and later in the studio at newly built Apple Studios. You see them cutting up and tinkering with bits and parts of new songs. Tinkering and coming up with lyrics to songs you have known for 50 years. It's awesome to see these songs being created from just small bits of music and words.
