I am in the process of buying a new truck (recently married, giving my JGC Diesel to the wife and trading in her Wrangler), and was hoping there were some dealership guys out there that could give me some advice.
We've ultimately decided to go with a Silverado (4x4, Crew Cab, short box), and we had found a couple of trucks within our budget that we liked. However, due to work we were unable to go see them in person before the end of the month. Now, the rebates have changed this month, and all the trucks are increased by $2k or more (at least here in Texas).
Our drop dead date for getting the new truck is the first week of June (moving across country). I am thinking Memorial Day there should be some substantial rebates (hoping). So, VQ resident experts, should I wait until Memorial Day, wait for the new month (closer to the end of the quarter), or should I pounce on the first deal that seems reasonable?
