Obviously not all of these will happen, but I could see the one or two following...
1. What does Pruitt do with the small LB's recruited to play Will under the previous staff? I am referring to Page, Reid, and Sapp. The hope is that they grow enough to play Will, which is an in-the-box position, or they play a Star type role... Which would be more of a LB-S type position as opposed to a CB-S type position, which would alter the schematics of the defense a great deal. -- Seems unlikely, but with our defensive back issues, it might be our best 11.
2. All hands on deck at CB. Theo Jackson, Cheyenne Labruzza, Tyler Byrd, Micah Abernathy, maybe even Carlin Fils-Aime could get a long look at playing a true CB spot.
3. Bituli and Ignont to the edge. Both guys are Mike LB types on mixed downs, but you'll see some Rashad Evans type players with Pruitt who are pass rushers on obvious passing downs. (I could actually see Ignont growing into a Jack in a year or so)
4. Bumphus to defense. You might be robbing Peter to pay Paul with our lack of depth at TE... But Bumphus has the size and skill set to be a disruptive play maker on the edge. He could even grow into being a SDE, IMO.
