Had a chance to visit with Jalen Reeves-Maybin today for a story on him graduating this weekend. Wanted to pass along a small note regarding his shoulder.
He's eight weeks removed from surgery now and told me that he started running this week and is just now trying to get back into shape. He said that everything was on schedule with his recovery right now. His goal is to be ready to go full speed when fall camp begins in August and he felt like he would easily be ready by then.
As far as his graduation goes, he's finishing with a degree in Sports Management and a minor in Business. Impressive young man to say the least, on and off the field, congratulations to him.
