Probably a lot of you would disagree but I think he did a pretty solid job as our AD. Just think about the disaster he inherited. Both the football and basketball programs were in absolute shambles. The Athletic Department was way in the red and hemorrhaging money. I can’t remember what our reserve was but it was less than 10 million and other programs had 50 - 60 million in theirs. I know he hired Butch, but that worked out for a while. It’s not like he had a lot of food options. I guess you could say he could’ve hired Sumlin but I might argue Butch had more success at Tennessee than Sumlin would’ve. Fire away
