1. OL really got some push. If we can do that this week huge chance to be successful.
2. 22 really struggled on Def. Not sure how much longer we can go with him.
3. Thought Heupel was really good , except for the end of the half. I also didn’t care for the flea- Flicker but we did have a player (TE I think ) open In the middle of the field.
4. 4th downs in the game were HUGE!
Not only the drop but the delay of game.
Add that along with the missed FG and not scoring at the end of the game. We left a ton of points on the field!
5. DL for the most part is playing the run well. Need more push on the pass rush.
Also have some depth there as well.
11, 48, 94, 97, 98, 51 all playing good minutes.
6. We need 9 healthy and 6 to come on to create a pass rush for the D to get to the next level. They do look well prepared and know their assignments.
7. Thought 38 Page played his best game.
8. Have to avoid the penalties , the targeting on the punt was tough bc of how late he called for the fair catch. Teams will continue to use the hard count til we can prove we can watch the football. We aren’t good enough to overcome anywhere near 100 penalty yards.
9. I like 5 as the Qb. 2 things , can he stay healthy and consistently hit the deep ball and some seem routes. If he can we will win 6-7 games.
10. We’ve been burned , heck numb for 12-15 years really. But the thought of a
4-2 Vols team playing Kiffin and Ole Miss Rebels at night in a alternate uniform sure would bring a heck of a atmosphere, excitement and attention to Rocky Top.
Starts with finding a way to win a 50/50 game on Saturday morning in CoMo.
Bonus : we have to get this investigation done sooner than later! People are killing us with negative recruiting.
