Its an honest question? Are most successful programs doing this routinely these days and are those players big contributors? How many senior redshirts are drafted annually on average? How many redshirt sophomores and jrs leave early for the draft early annually?
I don't know where to find the numbers or answers to my questions, but I hear so much about how we don't have the ability to redshirt players depth wise. I just wonder if that's as big of a deal as some make it out to be. I honestly don't know, but I admit I'm leaning towards its a little overrated in the key to a successful program.
