Forgot a lot of the early details, blocked punt and one play touchdown and them Milton hit Hyatt in the hands in the end zone on the first deep ball. What could have been and wow how quickly things changed moving to Hooker.

Can’t wait for football to be back.

Edit:
Continued the rewatch today.

Guys we’re gonna be good this coming year. QB position is in the best place it has been in a long time, tied with Dobbs but with better depth behind HH and better than any other point since Fulmer easily.

Heupel and co were getting production with a skeleton crew and smoke and mirrors last year. We had some many mistakes, that lost us the Pitt game but there were lots of flashes and I know y’all know how much better we got. Jabari Small didn’t play the second half of the game.

Who was stoked about Theo Jackson and Matthew Butler coming into the season last year? Now we are wondering how will we ever replace them? Tank and Trevon were playing good ball to start the year too, injuries and mental fatigue played a part in them struggling down the stretch. Others will step up like Theo and Matthew did, especially in year two. Big O, Elijah Simmons, Christian Charles all could make big jumps. Probably some others that I’m not thinking of. Jeremy Banks will continue to rack up a lot of tackles and play with his hair on fire

Coaches had no idea what our WR rotation was in that Pitt game. Walker Merrill, Jimmy Callaway and Hyatt were getting lots of run. We’ve got enough talent at WR to step up next to Ced and fill in for Velus. Bru, Hyatt, Callaway, Holiday, all the freshmen, someone is going to take that opportunity. Small and Jaylin Wright were solid to very good at times last year, they’ll be stronger and older + Williams Thomas and Sampson in there.

Darnell Wright, Spraggins and Cooper Mays the same.

Get your minds right, it’ll be here soon.
