they were just above average until he got there. I believe the records they have had the last couple of years are on par with their history, with the occasional big year.....even with all of that talent in the state. It's no guarantee they will have that run of success again. It just shows how incredible Saban's career has been. Everywhere he goes (except the NFL) he wins at the highest level. When he leaves Bama I expect them to come back down to earth as well, probably at the same trajectory as LSU....they will win big a couple more years then slowly drop off. I look forward to that!
