It was obviously another busy day on the recruiting trail for Tennessee as the Vol coaches continue to recruit across the country.

Head coach Butch Jones was again in the Atlanta area as he finished up seeing several committed players and prospects in and around Atlanta including offensive line commitment Venzell Boulware. Boulware still is scheduled to be at Ohio State this weekend and the feeling heading into the visit is that Tennessee will still be tough to beat here.

Elsewhere in Georgia, John Jancek stopped by the school of Jaqua Daniels in Athens, Ga., and the Vols offered the 4-star running back prospect.

Willie Martinez spent part of the day in the Midstate and checked on 2016 defensive back target Joejuan Williams. Williams said there's a chance he's in Knoxville this weekend for a visit.

Steve Stripling was in West Tennessee and checked on two of Tennessee's top instate targets next year, Tariqious Tisdale and Emmit Gooden.

Mark Elder spent the morning in Texas to see offensive lineman Kellen Diesch. Elder spent the afternoon and evening in Memphis as he checked in on 2016 receiver Dillon Mitchell and 2017 offensive lineman Isaiah Stokes.

We also believe Elder and Don Mahoney visited with Richmond tonight. We will see if anything comes of the visit with the 5-star offensive lineman in the next few days.

Finally, our thoughts and prayers are with Prince Tega Wanagho Jr. tonight after he suffered a bad leg injury in his basketball game. In the few times we spoke to the Nigerian native that moved to Alabama in August he was a fine young man, humble and grateful for his opportunity. We hope he has a speedy reovery
