Maybe I'm being naive, but as a fanbase, we should embrace Pruitt more based on last season improvement, especially since Fulmer just gave him an extension. Unless some of us are sitting on millions, the only way Pruitt's getting canned is if money boosters like the Haslam's buy him out. I don't think they would've approved Fulmer's decision to give Pruitt an extension if they thought Pruitt was gonna fail....this quick.
Man, I love winning almost as much as I like beautiful females. But seriously, I believe things are headed back to normal next year (football normal). We'll probably still have to contend with COVID, but it should be controllable. If our team falls flat next year and it appears Pruitt is losing touch next season, then I'll carry my torch and support getting rid of Pruitt. Until then, I support Pruitt and his coaching/recruiting efforts.
At the end of the day, we can't just fire and re-hire every time we're unhappy with a poor on field performance. We'll never rebuild and get close to the upper tier of the East if we continue replacing coaches.
GO VOLS!!
