The team goes as Grant Williams goes. When he plays well, we're very tough to beat. But when he plays inefficiently or isn't a factor, it puts a lot of pressure on other guys, who may not be ready, to pick up the slack. Look no further than our 8 conference losses: he played great against UGA and I would say he played decent vs. Arkansas and South Carolina in large part to going 18-26 from the FT line in those two games. The other 5 losses in conference, he played poorly and/or didn't show (of course these inconsistencies are expected of any freshman). In our last 5 games excluding the Mizzou JV team, he has 6 assists to 14 turnovers and the team has gone 1-4 in those games. This is mainly analyzing stats, but the team absolutely needs him to raise his play for these last 4 games to have any hope of the tournament.
