Yes, I hate it for Ford. It sucks and recruiting in general sucks. But this happens a lot, and no it's not going to hurt future classes, that's just ridiculous.
At least the coaches handled it properly and called and were up front about it now while he's still got time to find a great fit for himself, but in typical GQ fashion the nancies choose to harp on the worst in every situation.

The appropriate feeling is that is sucks for Ford and wish him nothing but the best but like it or not this absolutely 100% part of the unfortunate business of being one of the big boys, so decide what you want out of this program and stop freaking out.
