I’ve been a Pruitt supporter to this point but since the UK game it’s becoming obvious that he isn’t cut out for this job. The mismanagement of the QB room, same mistakes on defense week after week, making excuses post game, and then not playing to win the game last night when you still have a chance in the 4th qtr.
All this is starting to point to another coaching search but now bc if the Covid situation we don’t know how long it will be before we can actually move on. Can the program afford to fire him and pay another buyout? Or do we sit in limbo for another season or two before we inevitably move on from Pruitt? I will say this, TN can’t afford to sit idle and let other programs like USCjr go out and get a guy like Freeze.
