TLDR, Williamson County Schools has joined the TMSSAA for athletics this year. You can't play rec or travel during their school seasons if you are on the varsity team. This is going to further kill off rec ball and the school teams are going to really bad because all of the really good players are not going to give up their travel ball teams that they have already tried out for, made, paid for to play less games and not get as good of coaching. There has been zero communication about any of this to parents and makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
