Good defensive teams will dominate this squad by pressuring the 3 point line. Vescovi couldn't even get a shot off. JJJ is way too passive and so is Key (who can't drive just like Vescovi bc of poor foot speed).
Schofield and Grant were on the last team that hammered the rim along with Bone. Since then we rarely had multiple guys that would drive and finish strong. Some teams basically had none like this team.
That's why UT has big scoring droughts and won't achieve it's goals bc guys like JJJ, Phillips and Mashack are the only ones that can take the ball from the 3 point line and take it all the way to the rim and finish strong......but they refuse to bc they are soft mentally on offense which is weird bc they aren't soft on D
How many times have you seen those guys drive to the rim from the 3 point line all year and finish strong? Not even 1 time a game btw all 3 of them
