I've been slowly sprigging Zoysia into my front yard. I've got a decent size front yard about 12,000 sg. ft. I started out with large pieces & have been sprigging it around. I've been at it for about 10 years and my lawn is about 60% Zoyzia with Fescue and some pesky Bermuda/crab grass making up the rest. It's been more of a hobby at this point, but I'd like to move things along with the Zoysia. This year my Zoysia has not done well. I think the fact that I didn't get rain for about a month & didn't get water on it quickly enough has been damaging & it's looked like crap. Do you guys have any suggestions on how to bring the old zoysia back to life & spur its growth & spread? Also any fertilizer or fungus preventative ideas would be appreciated.
