Outide of guys who have already contributed a ton and of course our best players like Dobbs and Barnett, these are guys whose development must be accelerated and must take serious advantage of these 2 weeks to be ready starting 10/29:
Kelly - proved he can get the job done vs. TAMU, must be ready to get heavy carries going fwd
Fils-Aime - has shown well in very limited chances and has been on the field in 2 SEC road games. Now he #3 RB
Richmond - I thought he looked (relatively) decent vs. Bama. Getting Kendrick and Hall and Wiesman and Robertson back for SC and beyond likely means he goes back to the bench, but hopefully the taste of real SEC snaps kickstarts him
Boulware - showed well vs. TAMU when forced into action but struggled vs Bama. Same deal with PT as Richmond, but needs to be ready
Tatum - Had to play vs. Bama and burned the RS. He's not physically ready yet and barrin further injury won't be needed again this season. IN fact, I'd bet the staff will try to RS him next season when he goes back to being the 4th or 5th OT. But he has now played a lot of snaps vs. Bama, so he's got a jumping off point for improvement.
Brandon Johnson - With Kamara out for some time there's going to be more WR reps available. Another guy who basically started playing vs TAMU after having a nice fall camp
Alexis Johnson - when and if he gets healthy he instantly improves the DT rotation. Have to think he's knocked the rust off
Phillips - former 5-star going to be needed inside. I think he can help here
Kongbo - per Strip really coming on last 3 weeks, will likely be needed at DT as well as at DE. Two weeks will be big for him to get more comfortable inside
Picou - I thought he played well vs Bama (Strip agreed). Basically your 3rd true DT right now, so better be ready
Butcher - has never played before due to injury but I like Butch and Strip's comments about him. An undersized DT who looks like he can give them at least a few reps inside to begin with and be disruptive with his speed
Berry - has played well when he knows what he's doing. Must learn defense better. Experience vs. TAMU and Bama will go a long way
Bituli - very physically skilled, glad to hear they are pushing him. I think he could be a stud
Justin Martin/Buchanan/Osborne - all have played to varying degrees so far, and with Foreman being back they all won't have to play as much, but man if at least one of them could step up and improve their play the secondary would be a ton better AND they wouldn't have to commit the Safeties to helping over the top as much and instead could creep them up to help vs. the run
Warrior - dude is a stud and they need to get him on the field. I love TK and Abernathy and think both are very good, but neither of them are as fast and physical as Warrior. He's got to push himself to be able to show the coaches he can handle real, meaningful PT. He could be a difference maker
