Very limited offensive game plan...

A very limited offensive game plan almost cost us. Looking back on it, we only used a very small amount of our playbook. I don't remember seeing any of the speed sweep motions and misdirections we are use to seeing. No Hurd and Kamara together. Also, the read option without the option to read hamstrings the running game. The few times Dobbs did pull it, he should have given it. On the last play, Hurd walks in if he gives it. It almost looked like they were calling the keep or give. The coaches felt like they could win without showing their hand and just about go burned.

I sure hope to see improvements from game 1 to 2. The old saying, "that it is never as good as it seems and it is never as bad as it seems" is what I'm hoping for. Although right now it seems pretty bad.

The truth of the matter is, If our lines of scrimmage don't get drastically better, then we will not compete with the big boys on our schedule.
