A lot of people are getting mixed up on the street that it starts. There is a 2nd Ave but it's across the river from the statium. 2nd St is on the statium side of the river and is where the Vol walk starts. 2nd St and Shelby St is on the south side of the statium. The pedestrian bridge is Shelby Ave or use to be, so if you walk across the bridge just keep walking til you see 2nd St and that where it starts. All the numbered roads on the statium side of the river are Streets and the roads across the river are Ave. I hope this helps someone out because I have seen in other threads where people were getting the streets mixed up.
