Saw a Paul Biancardi instagram post w/ a Jalen Green dunk & a caption mentioning just how talented the 2020 basketball class was, and I also noted the early performances of Jalen Suggs at Gonzaga and Jalen Johnson today for Duke and that's the genesis for this post. Laying out some of these early performances below and knowing that Jaden Springer and Keon Johnson are right in the same ballpark as these guys is both heartening & disheartening as our season's start has been delayed (and, of course, as our football program is completely in the crapper due almost entirely to the QB position & the overall effect of being basically incompetent/ineffective there).

I may selectively update this thread during the season w/ updated stats for some of these guys. Here on the 4th day of the season, the 2 most disappointing stat lines for the guys listed here that have actually played are probably Makur Maker and Moussa Cisse. The rest are all pretty solid, if not outstanding.
Cade Cunningham - 21 pt, 10 rebound, and 3 assist debut (but also 5 TOs); 20 pt, 4 rebound, 4 assist, 2 steal, and 2 block 2nd game (w/ 2 TOs); would like to think Josiah Jordan-James could fill some stat sheets almost this much in 2020-21

G-League guys, so N/A:

Mobley - 21 pt, 9 rebound, 3 assist, 1 steal, and 3 block debut (but also w/ 5 TOs)

Brandon Boston - 15 pt, 7 rebound, 1 assist, 1 steal debut (w/ 2 TOs)

Ziaire Williams - no games yet for Stanford and may have to wait as long/longer than us, as Santa Clara County now has a 3-week ban on contact sports; 19 pt, 8 rebound, 3 assist, and 1 steal debut (but w/ 6 TOs)

Scottie Barnes - no games yet for FSU

Had been in 2021; Terrence Clark - 12 pt, 4 rebound, 4 assist, and 3 steal debut (w/ 2 TOs)

Jalen Johnson - 19 point, 19 rebound, 5 assist, and 4 block debut (but 2/ 7 TOs); Pretty WOW statline for a guy who ended up not being Jaden's teammate at IMG last season

Greg Brown - 11 pt, 10 rebound, and 5 TO debut

Jalen Suggs - 24 pt, 4 rebound, 8 assist, and 2 steal debut, w/ only 1 TO, against Kansas; 12 point, 4 rebound, 6 assist, 2 steal, and 1 block w/ only 2 TO 2nd game, against Auburn

Joshua Christopher - 11 pt and 4 rebound debut, w/ 0 TOs; 28 point, 4 rebound, 2 assist, and 1 steal w/ only 2 TOs 2nd game, against Villanova
