It's been mostly disappointment minus the Hurricane win at LSU, some unreal performances by Eric Berry, JJ, Barnett and Dobbs, a few wins over Georgia, the 2016 Gator win but in reality it's been a disaster. Every time we feel like we are moving forward as a program we stall or head in reverse. The days of selling kids on Manning, Witten and Berry are over. They are long forgotten. Arguably the best non QB offensive player in the NFL was hardly used here until Hurd left. We've gone cheap on head coaching hires and to be honest we have done a poor job of developing players. Football is very different than basketball. You can get away with having assistants in basketball that are below average to average coaches but can recruit their balls off. In football you better damn well be able to coach. Seems like teaching could be an issue with this staff.
So what do we do? We do what we have been doing...we watch, we suffer and we can only hope that one day we will be able to compete at a high level cause rt now we aren't competing with the bottom feeders in this league.
