Someone said a 4-year-old movie wasn't recent, and I said (pasting from the ban email I got):
"Ha, 'recent' is relative. If you are 20, 4 years is 20 percent of your entire life and feels like forever. If you are over 50 like me, 4 years ago feels like yesterday."
Reason for ban: mocking another poster.
That is the most pathetic ban I've ever seen. If I'd had any idea that was going to happen, I'd have given them a real reason that would have made their eyes bleed. There were a bunch of nasty comments in that thread. I think I just got swept up with the rest of them. I won't be going back, though.
