Dont get me wrong. I want to be at Bama's level, and we fought them step for step last year, so I truly believe we are closer than the score last Saturday. Our primary and first objective was catching back up with UGA and UF. They reigned superior(along with SC and Missouri) in the East, and we have beaten the dogs two years in a row, SC three years in a row and MO and UF once with opp to go 2-0 against MO and 4-0 against SC in a few weeks.
We have reached that level. Now the key is to build on that to reach new heights, and that takes stability, improvement(talent and perhaps coaching) and time. Hate it or not, it might also take Bama cycling down a little.
We are on our way up, and I believe we take care of business(while probably ugly) the rest of the way to reach the SECCG.
Never forget where we were with Dooley after Kiffin left boys. Winning isn't easy in this league. Enjoy all victories!
