I've seen posts where people are saying Butch might be painting himself into a corner, or that this could weaken his position with th fanbase.
While I absolutely abhor the suspected activity, and if guilty, hope the offenders are punished to the fullest extent of the law, my question is what is a coaching staff suppose to do to prevent these incidents?
Butch seems to react appropriately, completely removing suspected offenders from all contact with the team. This is the most severe response he can have as the head football coach. I also know in response to the AJ deal he had speakers talk to the team in an attempt to get the message through.
What can he do? Should he refuse to recruit players that aren't model individuals? Cut ties with prospects who have any behavioral issues?
