The USA today had a article on Derrick Henry and his draft reports last week one day. Multiple NFL scouts were saying his size will cause him to drop in the draft. I know that sounds crazy but they were saying that bigger RB's normally don't do well in the NFL. However they are a few exceptions they agreed. Henry is listed at 6'3" 240 lbs. Hurd in 1" taller and 7 lbs heavier than that.

I never thought I would be pulling for a Bama player to do well. The reason I hope Henry does well is because if he does, maybe it will cause more NFL teams to not be worried so much about Hurds size. I think Hurd is the better back but a lot of people will disagree with me.

It's just crazy to think Hurd will more than likely leave here with the most career rushing yards record for UT. One of if not the best back to play for the Vols ever. A great all around every down back and his size hold him back.

I would love to see him playing for the Titans one day as their first round pick. However from reading that article, it makes me wonder how high he will get drafted and how much will Henry's success this season in the NFL affect where Hurd is drafted. Go Vols!!
