Will the NIL cause top talent to be spread out beyond Bama, UGA, Clemson and OSU?

A&M had the best class ever last year, but Alabama, UGA, and Ohio St all had great classes - those three and Clemson have hoarded talent for the last 7 years or so.

Now, things seem different. There was a fact or fiction story on the front page of Rivals discussing if UGA would get “any 5* recruits in the class of 2023”?

In looking at the current breakdown by composite rankings, Ohio St, Clemson, UGA and Bama are all in the Top 10, but Notre Dame is #1 for 2023 and already doing very well for 2024. MIAMI, Texas, USCw, Penn St, Louisville, LSU, etc are also doing quite well.

It’s not that the top tier is going to stop getting talent, but will the best talent be spread out amongst more schools with the NIL?
