Just an opinion, but I wish we would go back to a base 4-3. It seems like over time it has been easier for UT to recruit to that system. We have not had any consistency in several years in rushing the passer. Only Barnett and Taylor come to mind (and Barnett did play in a 4-3 base). 4-3 DEs has always been a strength at UT until recently. Also, the great OLBs required in a 3-4 all go to Alabama. I really think our DBs would be better off too with 3 LBs with the front 4 rushing the passer.
