I'm really happy that JR made the All-SEC team, it's a great thing that shows the development of his career.
That being said, I find it absolutely ridiculous that there are 9 players on both the first and second teams. I mean that's insane. There should be five. No matter how hard you try, you cannot play nine players at one time.
All-NBA is five players. All-American in football is 22 players, plus kickers. I believe All American in BB is 5 players as well.
At this point, we're just trying to award as many people as we can for participating. Life is not like that. We stop participation awards in the 6th grade You have to pick five over everyone else.
