Two things...
First, I have a ton of respect for Inky Johnson. That guy bleeds orange like no one. The part where he said he told his teammates to let him have the tackle against the Air Force player late in the 4th quarter because he was going to break the guy's spirit, make him fumble, and run it back for a touchdown made me proud of him. It was the tackle that ended his Vol career. If you're not motivated about working hard or giving your all in anything you do in life after hearing him speak to the team, you don't have a pulse. Inky, if you're on this board, we're dang proud of you and glad you represent us!
Second, I'm very impressed with Coach Debord. He pays attention to the finest of details in everything from our quarterbacks' footwork to their delivery, studying of film, preparation, etc. The way you can tell he's a good instructor is the way every player is in-tune and glued to everything he's saying. That's the sign of a good communicator and teacher. The man is full of energy and you can tell he's hungry for success. I think Butch made a steal of a hire, and we'll be improved big time on offense for 2015 and especially 2016.
