It was ridiculous to pull him off the line in that situation, but to make him cover it with a compression sleeve on his shooting arm is beyond ridiculous. I'm curious to hear Donnies comments. Of course I doubt we get a question from Boob. There was a stretch of nearly 5 minutes where he never gave the score when Carl's Jr. was making their run.
Great job by this team to gut out the win, and by Dereick Reese knocking down that FT with all that non-sense going on.
Edit: after further review, I don't think it was the officials that required him to put on a compression sleeve, that was on our trainer, who was probably being pushed to hurry up by the officials. I don't think in that situation it's unreasonable to pull him off the line BEFORE the first shoot, but to do it between shots was BS IMO. Of course, I'm not surprised by anything an SEC crew does.
