Kentucky blew a 35-10 lead against Southern Miss but the number of plays run in the second half was amazing. USM ran 53 to Kentucky's 14.

I knew Miss. St. lost 21-20 to South Alabama but didn't realize they blew a 17-0 halftime lead. And then missed a 28 yard fg at the end of the game. And they were a 28 point favorite.

Texas blew a 17 point lead and gave it all back but did pull out the win.

We know the late leads Tenn. blew last year. We also know from coming from 21 down to Georgia to win.

We saw Tennessee overcome a 14 point deficit in the last 4 minutes at South Carolina 2 years ago to force OT and then win.

Maybe "big" leads just ain't what they used to be with the way good offenses can move the ball coupled with so much bad defense we see today.
