Is it safe to say he has been passed by Croom on the depth chart?

Do you guys have any insight into why he hasn't improved at all since his freshman year? I thought he looked like a sure fire NFL TE but he just doesn't appear to have gotten any better. Not a bad player but the lack of progress is disappointing.
