In the Two Minute Drill today you mentioned that Jakob Johnson is getting a lot of run at TE with Wolf out, and he definitely looked good on that one 4th and 1 play. As you said, he's certainly more than physical enough, and even if he'll be limited to blocking duties until (and if) he learns how to be a pass-catcher, it seems like a) he can help this team as a backup, blocking TE/HB, and b) is putting the extra reps he's getting with Wolf out to good use.

Can you talk about guys at other positions who are doing the same?

My thoughts:

RB: John Kelly had that nifty and powerful run in the aforementioned play. With Hurd not getting much contact, are/can he and Young take a step?

WR: Bunch of guys out, so more reps for Jauan for sure. What about Vince Perry?

OL: Obviously Jack Jones. What about Austin Sanders, Boulware, and (dare I say it) Blair?

Front seven is relatively healthy, but I wonder if Darrell Taylor can't get some extra reps and take advantage since they know what they have in the vets. Do you think they'd like to redshirt him since they have a good amount of talented depth at DE?

At DB, is Foreman getting more reps with Martin out? What about Abernathy and Miller (saw him with the 2's on their 4th and 1) at NB and/or CB?

Anyone else you guys have either seen taking advantage of teammate-injury-induced extra reps or think could/have an opportunity?

Thanks as always @Brent_Hubbs @P_Fortenberry @Rob Lewis @John_Brice
