butch gets a ton of hell on here for who he has hired and there's a vocal few always saying "when Butch screws this up" etc etc
But looking at the guys Butch has hired after bringing his initial staff-who keep in mind had two top 10 classes, he's done pretty well, imo.

Shoop-without a doubt the right call that didn't look great yet
Scott-not a Butch buddy. Recruiting win. Well respected. Seems to be good.
Debord-I hated this hire. Hated his play calling this year, too. But when you look at his offenses the last two years overall, the numbers are impressive.
Gullickson - although a Butch buddy, fantastic experience, a legit coach. Won't necessarily help in recruiting but is something to sell to kids that you have a long time NFL SC coach
