at a kid for not being good enough if he/she is the best Tennessee has?

Serious question.

I think about Dane Bradshaw, Nick Reviez, the Sullins Twins, Lucas Taylor and yes, Jarrett Guarantano.

Can we really be mad at them personally for doing their best even if it's not good enough for our standards as fans or where we want the team to be when they are the best we've got? (and say what you want it is clear at least as of October 24, 2020 that JG is far and away the best option UT has)

It certainly isn't their fault that they are on the field or on the court doing the best they can do and trying to win even though they are losing?
