Attended a fund fund raiser tonight hosted by Dr. Mitch Mutter, who played on the '67 team that finished regular season #2 behind USC. Coach Fulmer is a close friend of his and was also there. It was very interesting to hear them talk football. One very interesting thing to me was Coach Fulmer said his favorite team was 1994 that started 1-3. "Out of the ashes of that 1-3 start rose the foundation of the 45-5 run and national championship." He also said that if there had been a 4 team playoff at that time, UT would have been in '97, '98, '99 and '01.
