Pitt just isn't any better than average. Given the laundry list of self-inflicted errors and then officiating calls, the fact that we still were in this game was amazing. Let us count the ways:

1- Milton overthrows everyone
2- Penalties- Cade Mays cost us 4 points on that drive with that dumbass late hit
3- Countless other penalties (guess it's not countless but it was around 15 for 150 yards or so)
4- Handing the ball off on 4th and 1 foot to a 5'10", 165 lbs back when you have a QB that can fall forward for 2 yards
5- Did I mention the dumb penalties?

Officials-

1- Changing the call on the field to Milton fumbling. Replay couldn't overturn it but you could see Camp reaching in and tugging it out of Milton's hands on the ground
2- Terrible spot on the 3rd down prior to Milton handing it off to Wright on 4th down
3- Rekicking the ball after Pitt missed the FG, change of possession and THEN the penalties occur (which then led to a punt being downed at our 3, ensuing punt and field position for Pitt and a TD)
4- Missed hold on the RT holding Tremblay on Pitt's 1st TD, a 3rd down

I'm not blaming the refs for our loss. But they contributed for sure. We did plenty on our own to lose that winnable game. That's disappointing. We did so many things wrong and the game was still there for us to win.
