I think if the whole two year baseball thing hadn't happened, that they'd have won 8 straight. Then if they had stayed together it would have been 9 straight. I don't know that they would have been beat in 2000 either making it possibly 10 straight.
MJ and the Bulls never went to a game 7 in the finals. It wasn't like they were ever really in jeopardy of losing. The 2000 year MIGHT have been a problem with Kobe and Shaq, but I could honestly see 9 straight pretty easily considering had the Bulls stayed together, the Lakers wouldn't have had Phil Jackson in 2000.
What do y'all think?
