Demontez Carlton(McGavock QB) is having a blessed day. Despite it being late in the recruiting process and his inability to attend camps throughout the summer, Demontez had a door open for him today. He has received the opportunity to train with some well known coaches that may possibly help him obtain his dream of attending college and playing Football. There's no guarantees but the opportunity is now there. An individual that lives 2 hours away and has never met the kid reached out to support and donate the funds for Demontez to train. I know this individual personally and he is a member of VQ but I'm not aware of his handle. The Carlton family is very blessed and can't believe this is happening to them. They are speechless, Mom cried tears of joy. This is not just about football, Demontez will be the first on either side of his family with the possibility to attend College. Demontez is very quiet and hesitant to trust because he's been let down by others who claimed they would help him. So on Behalf of the Carlton family and my family, I want to say thank you! It's amazing that there are still genuine people willing to give back and hopefully make a kids dream come true! So, Demontez is eager to work hard on and off the field. He realizes the difficult task at hand and is ready for the challenge. He begins his training tomorrow, he will be placed at multiple positions to determine the best fit at the next level. He's very open to various positions and is willing to play anywhere that will allow him the opportunity to make a college roster. Sorry for the long post but I wanted to update those that have provided support for this young man and his family. They are truly blessed, Thank You All! #Vols
