Tennessee was back inside on Friday as their preparations for Nebraska continue.
The Vols will practice on Saturday and Sunday but they are closed to the media. They will workout Monday and Tuesday before heading home. The team reports back on Christmas Eve and will be together the 24th-25th. They will workout on the 26th before heading to Nashville that afternoon.
As for practice today, Tennessee early on worked alot of punt return stuff and plenty of individual work.
On the offensive/defensive line work, Charles Moseley showed up a couple of times. Now, obviously, Moseley has a long way to go to be consistent, but he did show up a couple of times. I also think Devante Brooks has found his future home. Now he has to get much heavier like Marcus Tatum, but I think Brooks has a chance to be a factor on the offensive line down the road.
For the defensive backs, heavy focus early on ball skills work. Getting your head around, finding the ball, and making a play.
Elsewhere on offense, the quarterbacks continue to rotate reps. and the receivers seem to be in a solid rhythm with the signalcallers. The wideouts definitely appear to have fresher legs and it shows in their early work.
