I wasn't able to make the trip down to UF but watched on TV. A few quick thoughts.

We're starting to catch glimpses of how every important piece of this team can put it together.

Early season "phase 1"

- Bone shows he's the real deal, although from a scoring and not necessarily distribution standpoint

- Fulkerson obviously shows his Intangible value as well as ability to score.

- Grant shows almost immediately he is going to be special, especially the last couple of weeks

- Kwe is slowed by an injury and we don't see him much

- Bowden shows he can knock down a 3

- Hubbs is a baller. He may have the best mid range game in the whole NCAA. He has 7 developed a somewhat attacker mentality. Need him to remain healthy which to me in a long shot considering his previous injuries.

Last few weeks "phase 2"

- Grant fully arrives and shows Stokes like abilities

- Bone returns unsurprisingly Rusty. Still exhibits relative inability to distribute the ball

- Kwe returns and shows a few things. He is ridiculous athletic, has the ability to be a LOCKDOWN defender and is raw as hell. He has played sigicantly better the last two or three games but tweaked his ankle yesterday.

- Admiral started the season off poorly and his 3 game pop set him back both personally and with the coaching staff. Fulky took minutes from him early on and Grant's emergence didn't help. He came alive yesterday and gained kudos with the coaching staff. He's fallen in love with the 3 and needs to get away from it.

Next steps

This team has the ability to put it all together and be dangerous. We need some good fortune with injuries. The biggest thing right now is we have got to get improved play out of our PGs. Lamonte and Bone are going to have to fall on the sword eventually and learn to distribute the ball and play defense first for us to be truly success.

My hope is we put this all together by the end of the year and get into the tournament as a 8-9 seed. Would be absolute best case and I think it COULD happen. I wouldn't be disappointed at all if it didn't but it would be a great accomplishment and be a huge springboard for recruiting possibly.

On another random note, I spoke with Isiah Victor last week and he's all about Barnes and the team in general. He's a great dude. If you live around Clarksville go buy a car from him. Wyatt Johnson Toyota
