Games that immediately come to mind to tell you season probably not looking great was Appalachian State game. Also how will we ever forget Georgia State loss.
If you blow them out it doesn’t tell you much because you did what was expected. You struggle in areas it’s usually a foreshadowing of what the season may hold. I’m sure there are other first game examples that could have for warned us how the season might unfold.
I believe we blow out Ball State and have no issues stopping them defensively. I’m taking Vols -32.5
