About one year ago, I decided to take my fandom to the next level and eat, sleep and breathe UT football. It was as good a decision as it's been an eventful year. We had Silly Season 2015-16, which saw the hunt for Warrior, Byrd man, and King Kongbo with Butch closing strong with all the excitement and hype that brought. Then Jancek swung on out of town, and then Shoop, there it was! (A little out of order but whatever.) Then there was Title IX, @lawvol taking the brunt of the GQ's ire, but the whole of the GQ banded together to defend our Vols from every talking head that had read a headline and decided they had an opinion. Then there was the magical 5-0 run which is easily the best time I've had watching UT football since I was 9 and the year was 1997-98. We know the rest, and I ain't bringing that voodoo in this post.
I learned how much some of you suck, but I also learned how awesome a community this place is and can be. We're all pretty crazy for how much we care about our Vols, if we're being honest with ourselves. But I'm pretty happy that there are so many people that care about UT football as much as I do, and happy to be on the forum with y'all.
Here's to another year with you fine gentlemen (and the few ladies brave enough to get on here)!
